1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 210 Sedan

One owner from new with 17,983 miles

Arriving in mid December and available end January 2008.

Not often does a chance to own a classic like this become available. In a totally untouched, unmodified condition. This is one of the classic Tri-Chevys and what most believe to be the best year, 1956.

This is a 1956 Chevrolet 4 door Sedan with 256 Turbo-Fire engine and manual transmission. The car has had one owner with only 17,983 miles from new. It was bought in Tomball Texas in 1956 by a lady who only drove it around Tomball. When we had this car inspected, it was noted that the mats were original, pedal rubbers were original and not worn, he door panels were not worn and it had the original finger nut covers on the doors.

This car still has factory plastic covers on all the original seats. It also has an original radio in fully working order.

The last recorded oil change was in 1985 when the odometer showed 15,000 miles, confirming the milage. It was used very little over the next 20 years due to the ill health of the owner.

The car will go into our workshop and have a full mechanical health check and any parts that need replacing due to age will be fully replaced. The car will then enter our body shop for a full body and chassis check over.

The car will then have a full repaint in the original Indian Ivory over Pinecrest green. All bright work will be refurbished or replaced. The interior is all original and untouched and will be staying - only the carpet and two door handles will be replaced.

The car will then recieve a completely new exhaust system and a set of white wall tyres. The car will be MOT'd and registered on UK number plates and taxed.

This must be one of the lowest milage 56's around and totally untouched from new. The boot also includes jack and tyre tools.

The engine bay will be fully restored includnig any wiring, water hoses and pipe work that may be required. The engine bay itself will be refinished in Ivory white. The motor and trans will be finished in body matching pinecrest green.
